The Hofstaat make up the royal court or royal entourage to the Prinzenpaar. They carry out the many duties of the court, including carrying the Prinzenpaar's banner and the official AKG flag, welcoming and escorting in guests, attending to the Prinz (Adjutant) and Prinzessin (Hofdamen), and of course provide drinks to the thirsty royal court and Elferrat (Kellermeister und Mundschenk).
